When you call we’ll be trying to establish how we can help you.
- have an immediate problem
- are you due for some routine preventative care or
- planning to do something soon about a dental concern
We are ready today to meet your expectations.
We schedule every day so that time is available for patients who require urgent treatment. So rest assured that help will be available when you need it.
It works best for us and you if our day is well organised. You will be pleasantly surprised to find out that we run on time. As a professional medical service your appointment time will be exclusively planned and prepared for and is uninterrupted. Emergency treatment is taken care of but does not intrude on the planned events of the day. You will receive SMS messages to confirm your appointments. We prefer that any changes to appointments are made at least 24 hours in advance.
We respect your time and hope you will respect ours.
Every new patient must complete a medical history and patient details form before treatment. Please arrive 5 – 10 minutes before your scheduled appointment time to allow time for this.
What to Bring
If you have health fund cover don’t forget to bring your membership card for on the spot Hicaps claiming.
Dental services are not generally covered under medicare however it can be useful to have your card as we sometimes refer patients to Gold Coast Radiology in our shopping centre to have an OPG xray taken, this item is covered and bulk billed. Having your card on you can save another trip to have your xray taken.
If your child is eligible for care under the child dental benefits scheme a medicare card must be presented.
New Veteran’s Affairs patients should bring their card.
If you take a lot of medications it can be helpful to write these down to assist with completing your medical history.
It is not necessary to have previous dental records or x-rays. In the unlikely event that past records are needed we have a form to send to your previous dentist. They will then supply information directly to us.
We accept visa or mastercard credit cards
Cash but no cheques
Payment is required on the day of treatment.
Concluding your visit
Any further appointments are made and these will print out on your statement, our system will send you a reminder 48 hours before the next appointment. Make sure you collect a business card as my mobile number is listed there for use during a genuine emergency out of hours.
Follow up calls
If we have performed some treatment you may receive a phone call the following day to check on your progress.
The Boardwalk building is beside Hope Island Shopping Centre on the waterfront. The Boardwalk parking is accessed from Rialto Quay Drive which is a left turn at the roundabout just after the shopping centre entrance. We have four reserved parking spaces at the foot of the stairs which bring you to our suite – number 8.
It is also very easy to park in the Hope Island Shopping Centre car park, head toward the waterfront and follow the waterfront boardwalk to your right.
